GENERAL INFORMATION

The current application window for the FY 2025 - 2026 budget is open. 

Annually, the Town accepts applications from non-profit organizations requesting support (monetary and/or in-kind services support) for projects/programs/events/services offered to the Queen Creek community. Grant submissions are considered during the budget process per the schedule below. It is the Town Council’s objective that funding provided to a not-for-profit agency directly benefits Queen Creek residents.

FY 2025 - 2026 APPLICATION REVIEW GUIDELINES (PLEASE READ)

Following are not-for-profit application review guidelines utilized by the review committee in determining support allocation for applicants. These guidelines are used in the review of each application received. Please consider these application review guidelines in drafting your application. 

  1. Applicants must use funds allocated by the Town to directly serve Queen Creek residents.
  2. Identify the name of the Town Council Member who invited you to apply (if applicable).
  3. Prior recipients seeking to re-apply must have provided closeout attendance and financial records to the Town, displaying how funds allocated by the Town were used before re-applying.
  4. In-kind-service requests for Town staff involvement in applicant’s events, ongoing activities, and services provided by the applicant are not recommended for approval.
  5. Monetary requests for applicant’s personnel costs are not recommended for approval.
  6. Monetary requests for the purchase of land and/or buildings by applicants are not recommended for approval. 
  7. For event support requests, monetary or in-kind services requests should be specific to equipment and materials.
  8. Late and/or incomplete submissions are not recommended for approval.
  9. Ensure that projects/programs/events/services for which applicants are requesting funding, fall within the grant period of July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
  10. All recipients of monetary and/or in-kind services support are required to submit a final report of closeout attendance, financial records and copies of publicity.
