2024 Sewer Bills

If you had a qualifying event during the winter averaging period, you can submit a request for a sewer fee adjustment online. Submit by July 7, 2024 to ensure the adjustment, if approved, is reflected on your July bill. Adjustment requests can be submitted at any point after July 7, 2024; however, such adjustments will only affect future bills; historical billing cycles will not be adjusted.

Sewer Fee Adjustments

Sewer fees are based on 70 percent (for single-family residence) of the water consumption billed during three (3) 28- to 35-day billing cycles during the winter months. This could include water consumption during a portion or all of November, December, January, and February depending on when your water meter is read. If you filled a swimming pool or experienced a significant leak, you may have a qualifying event. If you believe you have a qualifying event and would like your sewer charges reviewed for possible adjustment, please complete the Sewer Fee Adjustment Form.

Also, please note, new sewer averages and applicable sewer fee adjustments will become effective annually in July.

Queen Creek Sewer Master Plan Report

The purpose of this report is to provide the Town of Queen Creek with a Sewer Master Plan for the wastewater collection system. The report provides a system capacity analysis of the existing and the proposed ultimate systems.  Based on this analysis, a capital improvement project (CIP) has been prepared to assist the Town in fiscal planning by providing a prioritization of CIP projects.

Reclaimed Water Recharge and Reuse

The Town of Queen Creek is part owner with the Town of Gilbert and the City of Mesa of the Greenfield Water Reclamation Plant (GWRP), with the City of Mesa operating the facility. The plant produces reclaimed water with an A+ quality, as per the Arizona State Department of Environmental Quality.
