Any person who intends to manufacture, sell or deal in liquor in Arizona must apply for a liquor license with the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control. Applications are then forwarded to the Town Clerk if within the Town boundaries of Queen Creek .

Upon receiving an application, the Town Clerk will post a Public Notice on the proposed business premises for 20 calendar days. During this time, written comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk by any person who resides, owns or leases property within a one-mile radius of the premises to be licensed. No comments shall be filed or accepted by the Town thereafter. Comments will then be forwarded to the Town Council.

The Town Clerk will schedule the Public Hearing at the next Town Council meeting for the Council's consideration and recommendation. The Town is required to return a recommendation to the State within 60-days from receiving the application.

Businesses that hold a state issued liquor license and are located within the Town boundaries are required to obtain a Supplemental Liquor License from the Town.
