Celebrate Queen Creek This September
Queen Creek turns 35 on Sept. 5, 2024, but the celebration continues all month long!
You may be surprised to hear that Queen Creek is a relatively young community. Especially when compared to neighboring cities and towns such as Phoenix, AZ (144 years old) or Gilbert, AZ (104 years old).
In the past five years, Queen Creek has seen rapid growth and experienced many firsts. Specifically, launching the Queen Creek Police Department, being the first municipality in the state to have a fully funded pension reserve - saving taxpayers nearly $2 million annually - and the opening of State Route 24 from Ellsworth Rd. to Ironwood Dr.
Ranked as a top 10 'Most Livable City,' Queen Creek expanded ambulance service, opened new and expanded parks and is investing in infrastructure. To learn more about the Town's recent accomplishments, watch the State of the Town video.

In honor of Constitution Week, the Town hosts an art and essay contest for K-12 students who attend a school in the Town of Queen Creek. Contest submissions will be on display at the QC Community Concert and at Founders' Day.
The QC Community Concert in honor of Constitution Week will be held at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. The free concert will include high schools from throughout Queen Creek coming together in song.
Celebrate Queen Creek’s anniversary at the Founders’ Day celebration on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 5-9 p.m. at Founders’ Park, 22407 S. Ellsworth Road. Founders’ Day will include fun activities, great food, live music and the exciting Battle of the Badges.
