Political Campaign Signs
With the election season underway, political campaign signs have been placed and are visible throughout Queen Creek. Political signs are allowed to be placed in the public right-of-way and, with the owners permission, on private property. Placement of signs in roadway medians is prohibited (QC Zoning Ordinance 7.2.B.12).
Political campaign signs are allowed in accordance with ARS 16-1019, which addresses campaign sign placement and criteria.
In most instances, political campaign signs cannot be removed during the campaign period which concludes 15 days following the November 5 general election. However, these signs cannot be placed in any location where they can be a hazard to public safety, obstruct vision, or interfere with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
