General Park Regulations
- Trash must be placed in proper receptacles.
- No glass containers.
- No liquor allowed in parks, parking lots, retention basins, or washes.
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times and must be cleaned up after.
- No golfing allowed.
- No advertising or solicitation of goods or services except by permit.
- No motorized vehicles are allowed in parks, retention basins, or washes except on designated roadways.
- No vandalism or removal of park retention basins or wash improvements, or natural resources.
- No person shall discharge a firearm anywhere within Town limits except as allowed pursuant to state law.
- For after-hours assistance with field, ramada, or room rentals please call the Park Ranger Hotline at 480-358-3770.
Violators will be prosecuted. Maximum fine of $2,500 and/or imprisonment up to 6 months.
Town of Queen Creek Public Park Regulations and Ordinances
Reservations Regulations
Indoor facility reservations must be made in person at least three business days ahead.
If a reservation requires a set-up plan, it must be received by Parks & Recreation front desk staff no less than 5 business days prior to the rental.
*Set-up and clean-up time must be included in reservation time.
Recreation Business Days: Monday - Friday
Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Closed Saturday and Sunday
Indoor Facility Regulations

- No food or beverages can be served in carpeted rooms.
- For after-hours assistance with field, ramada, or room rentals please call the Park Ranger Hotline at 480-358-3770.
Violators will be prosecuted. Maximum fine of $2,500 and/or imprisonment up to 6 months.
Mansel Carter Oasis Park Tennis Court Regulations
- Tennis play only.
- Proper footwear is required, non-marking soles.
- Dogs, smoking, wheeled vehicles of any kind, and food & drink other than water water are prohibited.
- Limited reservations are available. Courts may be reserved at: QueenCreek.gov/FacilityRentals.
- Open play when not reserved; first come first served.
- Private instruction for pay is prohibited without approval from the Queen Creek Parks and Recreation Department.
- Town leagues and programs hold priority for court use.
- Tournaments, league and lesson programming, special events or maintenance may limit court space for the general public.
- Courts may be closed at any time due to safety or maintenance concerns. Please report any maintenance issues, such as cracks or hazards, to the appropriate authority.
- All other park rules apply.
Mansel Carter Oasis Park Pump Track Regulations
- Skate, bike, and ride at your own risk.
- Pump Track hours - 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Use protective equipment (helment,pads, and wrist guards).
- Petal Bikes, including Class 1 & 2 E-Bikes are allowed.
- Class 3 E-Bikes, electric dirt bikes, and motorized vehicles prohibited.
- Share the track - the parkis open to both experienced and inexperienced users.
- Provice ample room for other riders; be respectful and encourange the sport.
- Pump Track is closed during inclement weather.
- Stay on the defined course; do not "free ride" off the course.
- Aggressive behavior and abusive, profane, or foul language are prohibited.
- Water only on the Pump Track - no other food or beverage allowed.
- Smoking, vaping, drugs and alcohol prohibited.
- Know your ability (or your child's ability) and skate/bike/ride accordingly.
- Use parks and park equipment at your own risk. The Town of Queen Creek is not responsible for personal injury or damages caused by users.
- Please play by the rules, have respect for all and enjoy the facility.
Mansel Carter Oasis Skate Park Regulations
- Hours of operation: 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- WARNING: Skate/ride at your own risk.
- This wheel-friendly park is a self-supervised facility.
- Non-motorized bicycles, skateboards, skates, scooters, and rollerblades are welcome. All other uses are prohibited.
- Skating, biking, roller-skating/blading and scootering are hazardous recreational activities.
- Parental supervision is strongly recommended and encouraged for children under 12 years of age due to high potential of risk involving head and neck injuries (American Academy of Pediatrics).
- Skateboarding/riding requires a high degree and level of physical fitness. Any physical limitation or lack of physical fitness could result in serious injury or death while utilizing this facility.
- Both experienced and inexperienced skateboarders, rollerbladers, scooter riders and bikers use the wheel-friendly park. Serious injury may result from being hit by a skateboard, skater, bicycle, scooter or rider or by falling or colliding with others. Use of this facility may result in death, paralysis, broken bones or other serious injury.
- Be courteous to other park users at all times.
- Town of Queen Creek does not assume responsibility for injuries. Use this facility at your own risk.
- No glass containers allowed on or around the wheel-friendly park. Please put all trash in designated trash receptacles; failure to do so may result in closing of the park.
- The wheel-friendly park is part of a public park intended for family fun. Smoking, profanity and loud music are prohibited.
- Town Staff may close this area of the park at any interval of time, either entirely or merely to certain uses as necessary.
- The use of proactive safety equipment is strongly recommended. Exposure to broken bones, paralysis, or death can be reduced by wearing proper head gear, elbow pads, and knee pads.
- No skating when surface is wet, there is rain, lightning or during routine park maintenance periods.
- Only rubber or nylon wheels are to be used on the skate park surface.
- No personal ramps allowed on or around the wheel-friendly park.
- Food, drinks and gum must be kept off the wheel-friendly park.
- No alcohol permitted.
Founders' Skate Park Regulations
- Hours of operation: 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Town of Queen Creek strictly enforces the hours of operation of this facility; it is unlawful for a person to remain in this skatepark after designated hours.
- WARNING: Skate at your own risk.
- This skate park is a non- supervised facility.
- Absolutely no bicycles allowed inside the park.
- Skating is a hazardous recreational activity.
- Parental supervision is strongly recommended and encouraged for children under 12 years of age due to high potential of risk involving head and neck injuries (American Academy of Pediatrics).
- Skateboarding requires a high degree and level of fitness. Any physical limitation or lack of physical fitness could result in serious injury or death while utilizing this facility.
- Both experienced and inexperienced skateboarders and scooters use this skate park. Serious injury may result from being hit by a skateboard, skater, bicycle, falling or colliding. Use of this facility may result in death, paralysis, broken bones or other serious injury.
- The Town of Queen Creek does not assume responsibility for injuries. Use this facility at your own risk.
- No littering or graffiti.
- No glass containers allowed in the skate park. Please put trash/recyclables in designated receptacles.
- No alcohol is permitted.
- Town staff may close the skate park to the public at any time and for any interval of time, either entirely or merely to certain uses, as the Town Staff shall find reasonably necessary. Failure to follow rules may result in removal from the park.
- No personal ramps allowed into the skate park.
- No skating when surface is wet, raining, storms or during routine maintenance periods.
- Keep your skate park open by observing the following recommendations:

- Only rubber or nylon wheels are to be used on the skate park surface.
- Be courteous to other skaters at all times.
- No food, drinks, gum, tobacco, loud music or profane language allowed in the skate park.
Town of Queen Creek Public Lake Regulations

All Arizona Game and Fish Community Fishing Program Rules and Regulations must be followed, including licensing requirements and daily bag limits.

The lake is open daily during regular park hours.

All fishing must be done from the lake shore.

Fish may only be taken by pole or line.

Cleaning fish and discarding fish remains in a Town lake or within the confines of a Town park or facility is prohibited.

Dispose of all fishing line, bait, and hooks in proper trash receptacles located around the lake and park.

Do not feed any wildlife or leave any kind of food unattended in Town parks.
-
Do not release domestic or wild animals into a Town lake.
-
Do not harm or capture waterfowl or other wildlife.
-
Do not throw or discard any object or substance into the lake.

The following activities are prohibited at all times:

Swimming, bathing, and wading,
-
Voluntarily entering the water from the shoreline,
-
Jumping or diving from any structures on or around the lake,
-
Pet swimming,
-
Operating or using any boat, raft, or other watercraft, including canoes and kayaks,
-
Operating or using any raft, inner-tube, inflatable mattress, catamaran, sailboat, or any inflatable craft,
-
Operating or using any remote controlled boat or watercraft.

The Recreation Superintendent, or designee, shall interpret these regulations and
may act in any case not specifically covered herein.
Daily Bag Limits:
- 4 catfish
- 4 trout
- 2 bass (13-inch minimum)
- 10 sunfish
- 1 white amur (30-inch minimum)
*Statewide limits apply to all other species.
Town of Queen Creek Pickleball Court Regulations
- Pickleball courts are to be used for pickleball play only.
- Athletic shoes with non-marking soles are required. Ensure shoes are dry and free from dirt.
- All players come off of the court after a game and place their paddles back in the paddle holders, unless no one is waiting to play.
- Court #8 is designated as an ADA court for use with wheelchair play which has priority. No player rotation is required on this court when utilized for ADA play.
- Courts #17-24 are designated for reservations, leagues, clinics, and lessons. Scan the QR Code for additional information or to reserve courts. During all other times the courts are open to drop-in play.
- The following are not permitted:
1. Animals on the courts; except for service animals.
2. Food, gum, or drink; except water.
3. Glass Containers.
4. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or other wheeled recreational devices.
5. No Smoking.
6. Water bottles only - no alcoholic beverages. - Private instruction for pay is prohibited without approval from the Queen Creek Parks and 8. Recreation Department.

The Town prides itself in having safe parks and trails for you to enjoy. Here are a few safety tips to make your next visit an enjoyable one.
- Visit parks and trails with other people, avoid being alone in secluded areas, especially at night.
- Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
- Carry a cell phone.
- Tell someone where you are going and when you plan to be back.
- Vary your routine when visiting parks and using trails.
- Avoid wearing headphones while exercising. Being able to hear things around you will help you notice something you don’t see.
- Park in well lit areas and near other people if possible.
- Lock your vehicle and hide valuable items.

- Are bounce house inflatables allowed at the parks?
- Inflatables are allowed at certain ramadas and multi-purpose fields at Founders' and Desert Mountain Park with the presence of a reservation and appropriate insurance.
- Are bounce house inflatables with water attachments allowed at the parks?
- No, bounce house inflatables with water attachments are not allowed at the Town of Queen Creek facilities.
- Who needs a fishing license?
- Anyone over the age of 10 requires a license to fish at Mansel Carter Oasis Park and Frontier Family Park.
- Can I have a petting zoo for my party at the park?
- Petting Zoos can be present at the equestrian lot at Desert Mountain Park with previous Town coordination.
- Can I have a propane tank at the park?
- Propane tanks of up to 40 lbs. are permitted at the parks.
- Are there projectors in all of the indoor facilities?
- A projector can only be found in the Zane Grey room.
- How do I know if a ramada is reserved?
- Each ramada is equipped with signage that includes the number/name of the ramada and a QR code that you can scan to see if the ramada is currently reserved as well as check future availability.
- Can I reserve the entire Founders' Park Splash Pad?
- The entire Founders' Park Splash Pad is available for renting on non-holiday weekdays during March through May and August through October. Find more information here.
- Can I reserve the Mansel Carter Oasis Park Peninsula?
- Rentals for the Mansel Carter Oasis Park Peninsula have a four-hour minimum requirement. Find more information on these reservations here.
