Park Rangers

Park Rangers provide a presence in the Town park system that ensure the safety and enjoyment of park patrons, promote park cleanliness and provide excellent customer service.

About Park Rangers

The Town of Queen Creek Park Ranger Division consists of both full- and part-time employees. Park Rangers are CPR/First Aid certified and participate in a variety of continuing education programs. In addition, the Division maintains affiliations with several organizations, such as the Park Law Enforcement Association (PLEA), to support the Rangers in their efforts in maintaining high standards of professionalism and care for the community.

Park Rangers are responsible for a variety of duties to better serve park guests. Listed below are some of a Park Ranger’s duties:

Enforce Park and Trail rules	Maintain reports and incident records
Promote park cleanliness	Verify park user permits
Perform security	Open/close parks and trails
Assist park patrons	Secure Town buildings

Park Rangers also patrol the open spaces, trails and wash systems within the Town to educate ATV riders on the proper use of these protected areas. In an effort to reduce issues such as dust, noise and trail erosion, ATV riders that are seen along the wash system or other open spaces will be contacted and warned by a Park Ranger. The Queen Creek Police Department may also be called at the request of a Park Ranger. Riders will be given information regarding state laws pertaining to ATV use and appropriate places to ride in the area.

The Park Ranger Division is committed to providing Town of Queen Creek residents an enjoyable and safe park experience. When visiting Queen Creek's parks, please adhere to all Park Regulations.

Service Opportunities / Scout Projects

The Town of Queen Creek is always in need of great volunteers. Over the years, the Town has benefited from numerous service projects which have made Queen Creek a better place to live. We have many projects that would qualify for a memorable Eagle Scout Project, and we encourage you to involve your parents and leaders to develop the appropriate action plan.
