The Community Town Hall and Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday, June 11. Residents are invited to "get the scoop on what's going on in Queen Creek" from 10 a.m.-noon in the Zane Grey Conference Room at the Queen Creek Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

This free, fun and casual community outreach program takes place in conjunction with the Queen Creek Farmers' Market, and provides residents opportunities to have their opinions heard and encourages them to learn about projects affecting Queen Creek. Town representatives are on hand to answer questions and display upcoming projects. Topics to be covered include: 

• Town Council 5-year goals
• Plans for the Town Center area
• Road improvements
• Sewer and wastewater projects
• Approved General Plan
• Economic development goals and strategies
• Dust control initiatives
• Queen Creek Water service
• Fire service and public safety
• Garbage and recycling services
