Your scheduled trash and recycling collection day is determined by which zone you live in. Both trash (sandstone-colored cart) and recycling (blue cart) are picked up on the same day each week. One bulk trash pickup per month is included in your rate. Carts must be curbside by 6 a.m. on your day of service.

There are two ways to find your weekly trash and recycling service collection day:

Holiday Schedule

Trash and recycling services have four holidays within the year that collection services will be affected. 

• Thanksgiving Day — Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024 (residents in Zone 4 will be impacted)
• Christmas Day — Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024 (residents in Zones 3 and 4 will be impacted)
• New Year's Day — Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 (residents in Zones 3 and 4 will be impacted)
• Independence Day — Friday, July 4, 2025 (bulk trash not collected on Thursday, July 3 may be collected on Saturday, July 5)

If your service day falls on one of the above-listed holidays, then you will receive service the following day. The rest of the week following the holiday is also pushed back one calendar day, with Thursday's customers being serviced on Friday.

Holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, and Veterans Day are not affected.
