If a Maricopa County enforcement agent has investigated and determined that there is probable cause to believe that an animal is potentially dangerous or vicious, the aggrieved victim (or guardian, if the victim is a minor or disabled person), Supervisor of Maricopa County Animal Control, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office or their designee may file the below petition to have the animal declared potentially dangerous or vicious. The petition must be filed with the Town of Gilbert municipal court in accordance with all established procedures and policies. 

NOTE: All animal bite complaints and ensuing enforcement must be initiated by contacting the Queen Creek Police Department at 480-358-3500.
