Pool Barrier InformationPool Barriers Save Lives! Pool barrier pic

The Town of Queen Creek requires a pool barrier to be provided for all swimming pools. Barriers are required for both above and in-ground pools. Examples of these barriers include a five foot high fence on three sides of the pool along with either a motorized safety pool cover or a ground level door that is self closing and self latching. Another way to meet the pool safety barrier requirements is by having five foot high fences on all sides of the pool. While there are specific restrictions placed on each of these examples, it is important to know that each pool must be protected by some type of barrier.

Read about barrier requirements in Town Ordinance No. 479-10, which became effective June 19, 2010.
