You can now schedule inspections on the Town's Development Nexus website

The Town of Queen Creek now offers an additional method to schedule building inspections – by using the Development Service’s online citizen portal (Development Nexus). This change will allow customers to schedule, reschedule and cancel inspections through our current online system using a smart device or computer.

You can now text to schedule inspections

The Town of Queen Creek now offers an additional method to schedule building inspections – by text message. Simply text 844-347-6270 to schedule, reschedule or cancel a building inspection. Additional services available via text include viewing inspection results, requesting a follow up, and leaving comments or instructions for the inspector. The texting function enhances the customer’s ability to interact with the Town – the inspection scheduling line, 480-358-3030, is still available for those who do not wish to text.

Request an inspection

The cutoff time for next-business day inspections is 6:00 p.m. Inspection requests made after the cutoff time will be scheduled for the second business day.

Current Inspection Hours

From September through May, building inspections are performed between 6 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 6-10 a.m. on Fridays.

From June through August, inspections are performed between 5:30 a.m. and 12 noon, Monday through Thursday, and 5:30-10 a.m. on Fridays.

Inspection Codes

Inspection codes have changed effective July 11, 2016. Use these codes when calling in your inspection request.

If you have a 'legacy' permit number that looks like this example: 2016009876, when calling in your inspection request, follow the new prompts and enter 16 9876 when asked for your six digits.

Inspection Requirements

The Town of Queen Creek requires the following for each inspection:

The job site shall be open for inspector entrance.
The job card shall be made available at each inspection.
Once the structure is framed, the job card shall be posted as close to the front door as possible.
