As one of several measures to economize and use fewer resources, the Town of Queen Creek has merged the monthly About Town newsletter with the Town Manager’s Weekly Update and converted to an online-only service with an option for free e-mail subscriptions.

The new About Town Weekly E-Newsletter combines the in-depth features of the print publication with the timely updates of the weekly e-mail. Along with interesting feature stories, the online newsletter provides current Town news and statistics, project updates, answers to residents’ questions and links to the Town’s Web site for more information.

Although the Town recently implemented cost-saving measures for the newsletter, the transition online will save the Town additional funds in publication and postage costs. Overall savings to the Town will be approximately $58,000.

Residents are encouraged to subscribe the new e-newsletter to continue to receive current, detailed information. To subscribe, select Town Manager's Weekly Update from the list on the Sign-up for eNews page. Subscriptions are free of charge and information will not be sold or used for purposes other than distribution of the newsletter.
