A recap of what your Town Council has been up to during the month of March. 

Council Member Benning and Council Member McClure attended the Roots n' Boots Queen Creek Pony Express Swearing-In and Dinner on Sunday, March 3. At the dinner, there were 27 riders sworn in to participate in the inaugural Pony Express Ride. Pony Express Dinner

At the March 6 Town Council Meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council pronounced March 13 - 17 as Roots n' Boots Queen Creek Week. Attendees from the Friends of Horseshoe Park and the Roots n' Boots Royalty attended the meeting to receive the proclamation.

The Queen Creek Town Council also recognized Procurement Month at the March 6 Town Council Meeting and welcomed members of the Town's Procurement Department.

The Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre received a Justin Best Footing Award. Friends of Horseshoe Park Board Member David Mansingh presented the award to the HPEC staff and the Queen Creek Town Council at the March 6 Town Council Meeting.

On March 7, Council Member Jeff Brown attended the Town of Florence's State of the Town Presentation.

Council Members Robin Benning, Bryan McClure and Dawn Oliphant participated in the Roots n' Boots Queen Creek Rodeo March 13 - 16 at Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre.

On Saturday, March 16 the three Council Members participated in a pickup truck ride with former Town Council Member and Friends of Horseshoe Park President Jon Wootten.

Mayor Wheatley participated in the groundbreaking of the Mesa Workforce Development Center at the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport on March 19.

At the March 20 Town Council Meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council recognized Coach Shaun Hardt from Queen Creek High School who recently received the National Girls Track Coach of the Year Award from the National Federation of State High Schools.

Mayor Wheatley, Vice Mayor Martineau and Council Members Benning, McClure and Oliphant also recognized the 17 new graduates of the Town's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) at the March 20 Town Council Meeting.

On March 22, Mayor Wheatley spoke at the ribbon cutting for Desert Financial Credit Union at Queen Creek Crossing.

Spring into QC was held on Saturday, March 23. Mayor Wheatley, Vice Mayor Martineau and Council Members Benning, McClure and Padilla participated in egg hunts, animal races and other fun activities with attendees!

For our Town Queen Creek held a meeting on March 26. Mayor Wheatley provided remarks. Vice Mayor Martineau and Council Members McClure and Padilla also attended. 

For our Town 2024

Mayor Wheatley attended the American Leadership Academy Career Fair on March 26 with Queen Creek Public Works, Parks & Recreation and Police Department staff.
