A recap of what your Town Council has been up to during the month of April.
On April 3, LG Energy Solution hosted a construction progress event. Mayor Wheatley provided remarks. She also attended a site tour with Council Members Benning, Brown, McClure and Padilla.
At the April 3 Town Council Meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council presented awards to the first round of 2024 Star Students.
The Town Council also recognized the Benjamin Franklin Spirit Squad at the April 3 Town Council Meeting.
Mayor Wheatley proclaimed April 6-12 as Week of the Young Child. The Town Council recognized individuals from First Things First and the Pinal County United Way who came to receive the proclamation.
The annual Queen Creek Public Safety Day was held on Saturday, April 6. Mayor Wheatley, Vice Mayor Martineau and Council Members Benning and Padilla all attended the event.
The Queen Creek Town Council participated in annual budget meetings on April 8 & 9.
Mayor Wheatley and Council Member McClure attended the East Valley Mayors' Prayer Breakfast on April 16.
Mayor Wheatley and Council Member McClure participated in the groundbreaking for XNRGY at the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport on April 16.
At the April 17 Town Council Meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council recognized the next round of individuals who received 2024 Star Student Awards.
Mayor Wheatley and Council Members Benning and McClure attended the Town of Gilbert's State of the Town on April 23.
Mayor Wheatley, Vice Mayor Martineau and Council Member Oliphant attended the QC Volunteers Appreciation Dinner on April 24.
Vice Mayor Martineau kicked off the 2nd Queen Creek Rotary Club Run for Resilience 5K on April 27 at Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre.
Council Member Robin Benning provided remarks at the Banner Ironwood Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Saturday, April 27.
