Is a membership needed to use the Recreation Center?
- Yes, memberships will be required to utilize the facility, unless enrolled in a specific program at the facility (registration and applicable fees will apply).
What types of programs and classes are offered?

We are currently in the process of developing a wide range of exciting programs and classes that will cater to all ages and interests, including fitness, special interest workshops and recreational activities. Our goal is to offer something for everyone in the community!
Will there be personal trainers or coaches available?

Options for fitness support, including trainers or coaches, are currently being explored, but final details are still being worked out. For the safety and quality of experience for all members, personal trainers not affiliated with the Recreation Center are not allowed to conduct training sessions within the facility.
What other fitness options will be available?

The Recreation Center will offer fitness-on-demand. Fitness on Demand is a virtual fitness platform that provides access to a wide variety of fitness classes and workouts through digital streaming. The platform offers users flexibility by allowing members to choose from an extensive library of professionally led workouts. Classes range from yoga, Pilates, strength training, cardio, dance, and specialized fitness programs, catering to all fitness levels and interests.
Will there be Silver Sneakers classes/programs?
How to provide suggestions on programs/classes?
- To provide suggestions on programs or classes, please complete the suggestion form. This form is designed to collect ideas for new classes and general feedback on current offerings. All submissions will be reviewed to assess community interest, resource availability and alignment with the goals of the facility. Community input helps the department to continuously improve programming and offer activities that meet the needs and interests of the community.
