Queen Creek hosts local competitions for national youth sports programs

Punt, Pass & Kick

Participating in sports helps children develop agility, coordination, endurance, flexibility, speed and strength. Children who participate in sports classes, programs, leagues and competitions also have the opportunity to gain confidence and skills in leadership and cooperation. Among other exciting youth sports opportunities, Queen Creek Parks & Recreation hosts several local and sectional competitions for national programs including MLB Aquafina Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) and NFL Punt, Pass & Kick (PPK).

Question of the Week

I've heard that Queen Creek Road will eventually extend west of Ellsworth Road and connect with Germann Road. Is that true?

Yes. While the timing of those road improvements is dependent on development activity in the area, existing Queen Creek Road will swing to the north, just west of the Crismon Road alignment, becoming the new "Queen Creek Parkway." The new parkway will return to an east-west alignment one-half (1/2) mile north of existing Queen Creek Road - at the Ryan Road alignment - and extend west to Hawes Road.
