Anyone & everyone is welcome to join this session - all that's needed is the openness to ask questions & the willingness to practice! If you're a beginner looking to learn more about computers, or if you're an avid user wanting to hone your skills, this class will have something for you. This is an open-forum session - our pace will be dictated by the skill level of the class! This month, we'll cover: 1) Word for Beginners - We'll offer an overview of Microsoft Word, which includes creating new documents and recovering saved files, copy/pasting, printing, and finding the options available to alter documents on the toolbar. 2) Excel for Beginners - Create spreadsheets for your business, job, or your own personal records. We'll practice inserting & formatting cells, along with adding pages. 3) Power Point for Beginners - Professional quality slide-shows & presentations are at your fingertips! We'll start by practicing the basic functions of Power Point, such as creating new slides & setting formats/colors. Next, we'll explore formatting fonts & pictures, giving our presentations that "personal touch" we desire. Conference Room. At the Maricopa County Library District's Queen Creek Branch Library.
