Ages 12-18. the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) SELECTED Perry Branch Library as one of 16 public & school libraries to serve as official book groups for YALSA's Teens' Top Ten. The Teens' Top Ten is an ongoing project in which publishers of young adult books provide advanced reader copies to teen book discussion groups in libraries. In exchange, teen readers evaluate books from more than 30 participating publishers. Bookhype started its two year term in October 2010 & will finish its duties in 2012. Teens that participate in bookhype at Perry Branch Library will also choose the nominees for the Teen's Top Ten, in which teens nationwide vote for their favorite books each year. The nominations are released in March each year; The Teens' Top 10 List results are announced during Teen Read Week, in October. Interested in Joining?
