North-South Corridor Study Public Scoping Meeting

Your input is needed

The Arizona Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration invite you to attend any of four public scoping meetings for the proposed North–South Corridor Study.

The North–South Corridor Study is an engineering and environmental analysis and evaluation initiated to identify and evaluate possible transportation routes for a connection between US 60 and Interstate 10 in Pinal County. The purpose of the study is to identify a transportation corridor to provide access to a rapidly growing portion of Pinal County and to improve regional mobility.

Scoping is the period during the initial portion of the study when the public is given the opportunity to learn about the study and identify issues that need to be addressed. The purpose of the meetings is to provide an overview of the study, discuss the environmental and engineering processes and schedule, present the corridor opportunity areas, and provide the opportunity for members of the community to ask questions and provide input.

Each meeting will be identical in content and will include a brief presentation by the project team, followed by a question-and-answer session. Before and after the presentation, the public is invited to look through maps and displays and speak to team members who will be available to answer questions.
