Queen Creek residents are invited to attend a public open house Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. to learn about the Town's plan for revitalizing the Town Center. The open house will be held at the Queen Creek Library Recreation Annex at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road, Room 162. The room is near the northeast corner of the library and can be entered by the northeast door.
The Town of Queen Creek Transportation Department has identified the segment of Ellsworth Road between Rittenhouse and Ocotillo roads for roadway improvements, as part of the Town Center Plan approved by the Town Council. Ellsworth Road will be widened to four lanes north of Heritage Loop Road and remain two lanes south of Heritage Loop Road. The roadway design plans are 60 percent complete and public input will be considered before proceeding to completion. Design may be complete in February 2010.
