Explore the Internet with a hands-on guided tour. Visit Web sites, starting with the library's own, and explore onward with the Google search engine. This course offers a brief description of how the Internet works and includes walk-throughs on setting up "favorites" & "homepages". Also, the importance of firewalls, spyware & virus protection subscriptions will be discussed. A simple working knowledge of computer use is needed for this course--attendance in "Introduction to Computers" will suffice. Registration needed. Library Conference Room.
