The Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) will host a Prescription Drug Take Back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day provides an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of unused, unwanted, and expired prescriptions and over the counter medications.
QCPD will have two locations for drop off:
- Walgreens - 21212 E. Ocotillo Rd., Queen Creek, AZ 85142
Collection sites will not accept syringes, sharps and illicit drugs. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container. The cap must be tightly sealed to prevent spills.
