Cowboy Mounted Shooting is one of the fastest growing equestrian sports and an exciting event to watch! Riders shoot blanks from single action 45-caliber weapons while riding their horse at full run for the fastest time. 

Free for spectators. Competitions held throughout the day.

Who We Are and What We Do:    

•ACMSA was founded in 1997 and is the oldest affiliate CMSA club in the world. ACMSA operates as an event production company, producing numerous mounted shooting events throughout the year including matches at the AQHA Sun Circuit Show and the Roots N Boots Rodeo. ACMSA offers club memberships to any CMSA member. Club membership includes eligibility to earn

• ACMSA supports and encourages a family atmosphere. All ACMSA mounted shooting events include class competition for all ages;the entire family can play together.

•ACMSA generously donates the proceeds of designated shoots to support charities such as Horses Help and the Ben AveryDevelopment project.

•ACMSA endorses the NRA and Gun Safety training programs
