The following Town Offices will be closed on Fridays for a two-month trial period beginning Monday, June 30, 2008 and ending Labor Day, Sept. 1, 2008:
- Town Hall
- Development Services Building
- Parks and Recreation Building
- Water Department Building
Essential police and fire services will continue to be offered seven days a week, as will calls for emergency services such as water line or sewer breaks. Also, some staff will still be working Fridays, such as building inspectors, park rangers and Public Works utility and street staff.
During this time, Town Offices will be open extended hours Monday-Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., in an effort to provide better customer service and give residents who may have not been able to get to Town Hall between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. an extra hour in the morning and afternoon.
