The Queen Creek Town Council and members of the Queen Creek Fire Department invite you and your family to come celebrate the grand opening of Fire Station 2 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3.
An Arbor Day tree dedication hosted by Queen Creek’s Neighborhood Preservation will mark the start of the festivities at 10 a.m., followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Queen Creek Mayor Art Sanders. After the ceremony, visitors will be invited to take guided tours of the new station, explore the fire truck and learn various safety techniques. Attendees will also enjoy a free barbecue lunch prepared by the firefighters.
A free park-and-ride service will be provided at Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S. Hawes Road, with buses running continuously from 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. No parking will be available at Fire Station 2.
