QC Recycles for Earth Day!
Join the Town of Queen Creek in Recycling for Earth Day on April 21
In honor of Earth Day, the Town of Queen Creek is hosting a recycling drop off event for residents on Saturday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to noon in the dirt lot behind HomeGoods/Sprouts on the NWC of Ellsworth and Maya roads. The free recycling drop-off event is being offered in partnership with Right Away Disposal for residents who receive Town trash and recycling services. Participants must bring a current copy of their Town of Queen Creek Utility bill showing trash and recycling services (hardcopy or electronic). Only residents with Solid Waste services are permitted to participate in the recycling events at this time.
The following items will be accepted:
Electronics: computers, hard drives, computer keyboards, power supply, monitors, TVs, VCRs, etc.
Metals: steel, copper, aluminum.
Appliances: refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, washers and dryers.
Tires: up to four tires per vehicle with the rims removed.
Paper shredding: five (5) box limit per vehicle. We are not able to accept material from commercial businesses. Materials store in secure, locked containers and transferred to a document shredding facility.
Plastic bags: bring all your grocery bags you've been collecting and exchange them for a reusable bag! *One bag per vehicle. While supplies last.
Paint: latex and water-based paints in the original, labeled container with closed lid (no limit on number of containers, the containers cannot exceed five gallons).
Household Hazardous Waste (oil, grease or chemicals) will NOT be accepted at this event.
