Show off your basketball talents at Queen Creek’s free annual Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA Skills Challenge! Held for one day only, this exciting competition will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Queen Creek High School Gymnasium, 22149 E. Ocotillo Road. Registration will be held on-site the day of the competition at 10 a.m. No late registrations will be accepted.

Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA is a free event that provides boys and girls ages 7 to 14 with the opportunity to participate in an exciting basketball skills competition showcasing their abilities in dribbling, passing and shooting. Champions from this local competition will have the chance to advance to one of 25 Regional Competitions taking place across the country in hopes of advancing to the National Finals in Orlando, Florida.

All participants must provide a copy of their birth certificate and have a parent and/or guardian complete a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition. Age classification is as of May 16 of the current year. Open-toed shoes will not be allowed, and participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles.

Special guests will include representatives from Arizona State Women’s Basketball and our very own Queen Creek High School cheerleaders. Champions from the local competition will be provided with free entrance and transportation to the last home game of the Sun Devils. Per NCAA rules, high school students are not eligible for tickets but may participate in the competition.
