Carve your pumpkins, don your costumes and get ready to join the Town of Queen Creek Parks and Recreation Department at Trunk or Treat from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S. Hawes Road.
Trunk or Treat provides a safe environment for families to enjoy an inexpensive evening of Halloween fun! Ghouls, goblins and ghosts of all ages will enjoy a festival of activities at the popular and exciting community Halloween event.
- Children trick-or-treat by visiting decorated car trunks on "Trunk or Treat Street" to get their bags filled with goodies. Individuals or groups sign up to host the trunks, and the Town of Queen Creek provides all the candy.
- The event will feature the performances of juggler extraordinaire James Reid and the amazing educational and interactive science experiments of Mad Science.
- The Little Goblin Zone, an area specially tailored for children ages 4 and under, includes an exclusive inflatable, a petting zoo and face painting.
- The event will also include a carved/decorated pumpkin contest, a canine costume contest, carnival games and a phantom fun house.
Trunk or Treat is sponsored in part by Queen Creek Marketplace, The UPS Store, Walmart and The Arizona Republic. The overall event is free; however food vendors and carnival games will have nominal fees.
