Little Joey the baby kangaroo hops all over Austrailia trying to find his mommy! He asks for the help of animals who live in the air, in trees, along rivers, under sandy beaches, and in underground burrows. Along the way Joey and the audience learn to sing the Kookaburra song and all sorts of interesting things about the animals. The animals show how they can help Joey and each other.
