QC Library: Writing Short Stories-The Short, The Long and The In-Between

Adults

Writing a short story is very different from writing a novel, and short story lengths present different challenges. Learn tips and techniques from a successful, multi-published author who writes - and sells both novels and short stories of all lengths.

This workshop is presented by Gini Koch, author of 8 books, including the Touched by an Alien series, and several short stories.

All participants must bring an electronic copy of a short storythey've written (5,000 words or less), and a flash drive with enough storage space for their story and presentation notes. Laptops are required for the event; a limited number of laptops will be available on site for this event (if you will need to borrow a laptop, please call Shelley at the Queen Creek library to make arrangements).

Space is limited. Registration needed. Mary Lou Fulton Story Time Room.
