The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) in coordination with the Town of Queen Creek and Pinal County, is in the process of updating the 2010 Design Concept Report for Meridian Road between Empire Boulevard and Ocotillo Road. As part of this update, MCDOT's RightRoads Program is conducting a public open house meeting to gather community feedback regarding additional intersection improvement alternatives. Proposed improvements include a bridged crossing of Queen Creek Wash and an at-grade intersection of Meridian Road with Combs Road, future Riggs Road, Rittenhouse Road and the Union Pacific Railroad.
