Ages 7-11. Did you know that modern finger painting was invented by an American woman while teaching in Italy in the 1920s? Find out how Ruth Faison Shaw invented the formula for the non-toxic paint and learn the painting techniques Miss Shaw developed to create amazing works of art. This isn't your pre-school finger painting! Though the paints are non-toxic and washable, wearing old clothes or bringing a smock is recommended for this program.
